Redwood burl 2007 Chest 1

This was designed and built by Dylan to transport the crown of the famous energy worker Amachi. It had to be robust enough to travel and comfortable to carry. Dylan designed a hand made lock system made of three interlocking catches driven by a concealed button on the side of the case. The nautilus pattern provided a metaphoric and ergonomic design element.
